Students who move out of the IB attendance zone for the school to which they were accepted will choose between two options in order to remain in the HCPS IB program.
- They can continue to attend their original IB World School if parents provide transportation. HCPS will not provide bus transportation.
- They can attend the IB World School zoned for their new residence. HCPS will provide bus transportation.
Please contact the IB Programs Office with proof of contract reflecting a new address and the date of the planned move as soon as possible to ensure a smooth and timely transition.

Private School students will be given the Writing Prompt December 11 or 12, 2012, 3:00, at Moody Middle School.
Private School students will take the NWEA test January 10 or 17, 2013, 3:00, at Greenwood Elementary School

Current eighth grade students living in Henrico County who are not enrolled in a Henrico County middle school and are interested in applying for a Specialty Center for the 2013-2014 school year, must take the NWEA MAPS Reading and Math Tests. Students will also have to complete a one hour writing prompt. Interested students must register for both the NWEA and writing assessments.
