7th GRADE SUMMER READING 2012
All of the IB MYP sites collaborated to enhance the 2012 Summer Reading Program. As a rising 7th grade student in the HCPS IB MYP Programs (Fairfield Middle School, Tuckahoe Middle School, and Moody Middle School), the students are required to participate in the Summer Reading Program. The program will allow students to use skills learned in 6th grade while exploring new possibilities. So, for your next step of the IB journey, we introduce the 2012 Summer Reading Program: The Adventure Continues!
The first novel, Elepant Run by Roland Smith, is required reading for all rising 7th grade students. We hope that you will enjoy reading this novel as much as we (the teachers) enjoyed the novel!
For the second summer reading novel, you may choose ONE novel from the five novels listed below. To help with your selection process, there is a link to more information about the novels.
